This pure grape alcohol is distilled in a specially designed alembic in France with the aniseed from the reputed Mount Hermon's Al Heeneh area. Ksarak's innovative technique discloses the heart of the arak through an independent pipe to obtain the real "PURE FLOWER". Finally, this spirit is refined to release the purest and healthiest arak. Ksarak is matured for two years in clay jars and only then is the arak bottled for commercialisation.

Ksarak est un arak “pure fleur” à la qualité unique. Elaboré à partir d’alcool de raisin et d’anis vert, Ksarak est vieilli en jarres de terre cuite pendant au moins deux ans. C’est un arak réputé pour ses arômes subtils et son goût suave qu’apprécient les connaisseurs tout spécialement pour accompagner les saveurs du mézzé et de la cuisine libanaise. A servir allongé d’eau, avec des glaçons.

Arak Production

The grapes are first fermented, then the first distillation releases the alcohol from wine in Ksara’s unique and most modern distillation column which eliminates the methanol and all heavy and unhealthy oils that spoil the taste. Ksarak only uses aniseed from the reputed Mount Hermon’s Al Heeneh area. The delicate scent of the prime aniseed is appealing to the true connoisseur.

Ksarak is finally matured for two years in clay jars manufactured in Beit Chebab following ancestral norms. Only then is the arak bottled for commercialization.
