Climatic conditions in the Bekaa provide KSARA's vineyards with exceptional advantages. There is almost no rainfall during the growing season and diseases seldom strike the vines. Downy mildew and colding month worms are rareties and do not demand treatment . Botrytis rot does not exist here and so there is no reason to be worried about the harvest. KSARA's grapes can be considered to be grown organically because pesticides and herbicides are not used.
Harvesting is done by hand and there is no need for selection because the grapes reach ripeness without fear of botrytis rot.The wines of KSARA age in spacious underground galleries where the temperature in both summer andwinter only varies between 11 and 13°C and provides the essential conditions for bringing wine to its peak of perfection.
